Leaders are responsible for wellbeing in their organisations. Fundamentally the culture, whether or not an employee feels cared about, is the responsibility of leadership.

There are on average 240 working days in a year. If CHAMPS delivers training, maybe somebody is with us for half a day leaving 239.5 days. That is when wellbeing really matters in an organisation.

That’s when, as an employee, I know this organisation cares about me or not. Leaders have a responsibility to manage that part of it and that’s what our Phoenix programme aims to do.

Phoenix aims to help leaders understand the holistic part of a wellbeing strategy to see that yes, those components may well come in to play are important but how they are wrapped up together; how they are embedded and integrated with strategic oversight.
