At CHAMPS we talk Mental Wealth. But what does that mean?

In essence, it’s a fusion of wellbeing and mental health. All too often, people associate mental health with problems and illness – as though mental health is a negative thing. We all have mental health and that fluctuates over time – sometimes we’re thriving and other times it is drained to a level of languishing.

Mental Wealth is about the awareness that we can take action to boost it and tap into our thoughts, feelings and emotions to re-frame how we view our life. It’s about identifying our strengths, having compassion for ourselves and others and learning how to be our best selves. Above all, it should help to make us feel happier too!

My Mental Wealth

Research has shown there are seven activities that can improve Mental Wealth and help rebalance or boost the brain’s chemistry.
